Today marks the start of the Project for Awesome annual 48 hour fundraising event! Hosted by various YouTube personalities, including my favorites, the Vlogbrothers! Watching John Green's live stream right now... the IndieGoGo crowd sourcing fund for the event just hit $102,298! (See Tumblr for shirtless shots of Green. The look on his face was absolutely priceless.) Thousands of videos about various charities have been submitted to the main site where you can like, vote & share to promote your favorite choice to determine how the P4A funds will be spent. I love the idea of this crowd sourced, crowd decided charity event.

YouTube is such a great community when they come together & take some time away from posting more funny videos of cats. Please donate if you can, or at the very least, leave comments on videos to force Hank & John to donate their own!
